We are a Charity, which began in 1984, and is manned entirely by volunteers, operating along the Marina Alta coast from Denia to Calpe. We try to provide advice, short term support and assistance when there are medical or other health related needs.
Our Services include:
An Interpreter Service and Help desk at Denia Hospital.
Volunteer hospital visitors for English speaking patients twice weekly at Denia Hospital.
Help Office & Medical Equipment Loan – General information and advice, plus loan of basic medical, and home nursing equipment for short term needs.
A Respite Care Service which allows a relative or carer of someone with long term needs at home, to have a short break, knowing that their loved one is in a safe environment and receiving appropriate care
An Activity Centre – a community resource for use by individuals, organisations, clubs and Charities as well as various HELP activities.
Support Groups – for Diabetes and Parkinsons.
Charity Shops – in La Xara and Teulada

We are buying tablets, ipads for patients to be able to communicate with loved ones since no visitors can attend. Goodies and energy drinks etc for the medical staff and Bonbons for patients on the wards that can’t have any visitors to brighten their day. . Everything has to be in wrappers because of hygiene. We hope people will help by donating.
Anyone who needs assistance with shopping, Collecting from pharmacy we have a team of volunteers.
