All about Telitec

Telitec Communications was founded in 2002, by expatriate Mark Catlin, initially providing LOW-COST CALLS via existing Telefonica LANDLINES.

It soon became apparent, through the  desperate enquiries that we received that many people either had a landline but were unable to receive ADSL, couldn´t get a landline, or had simply given up waiting for Telefonica to provide anything. We decided that this was a market that needed a solution, and fast!

After extensive research into wireless technologies we launched Telitec WIRELESS services in 2005, initially transmitting from Cumbre del Sol in Benitatchell, Alicante. Our wireless service was an instant success, bringing a long awaited solution to many people in and around the local areas. We have in the years since, continually looked at ways of improving our infrastructure, and as wireless technologies have improved we have always continued to upgrade our equipment accordingly.

The expansion of our wireless coverage area has been nothing short of incredible, now  widely  covering the Costa Blanca from Valencia in the North, to Mazzaron in the South covering over 9000sq kms, making us Spain´s largest WISP (wireless internet service provider). We use only the highest quality wireless equipment available to distribute our service via our fibre optic backhaul from over 50 distribution points along the Costa Blanca, giving a service to thousands of clients often far superior to that available via traditional landline methods.

 While continuing to expand our wireless division we felt the obvious progression was to offer MOBILE  telephone services complimenting our existing telecoms products.

After many months of negotiations we decided to accept an offer from HITS MOBILE  , the fastest growing MVNO in Spain , and have never looked back !!

With tens of thousands now saving a huge amount of money, this PAYG MOBILE service has been a resounding success and have recently launched into DATA MOBILE  also .

In 2008 we launched our FAST SPEED ADSL service combining with low-cost calls initially and then, when Telefonica/Movistar, lost their monopoly, LINE RENTAL too.

Clients have come in their droves to be rid of Movistar/ Telefonica. With the advantages  of just one invoice for calls, Line rental and ASDL and being able to communicate in their own language.

Although one company, Telitec is split into a number of divisions; landline / ADSL, wireless, mobile services and product. Each division has a handpicked team of dedicated and experienced staff run by a management team with a wealth of experience throughout Europe and Spain. We have many offices throughout the Costa Blanca with our head office situated in Moraira, this office employs a staff compliment of around 60 multi-lingual specialists offering support 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This central office also has an extensive range of MOBILE HANDSETS ,TABLETS ,LAPTOP and COMPUTERS offering friendly and professional advice in many languages to the general public.

Telitec has become one of the biggest TELECOMMUNICATION companies in Spain due to foresight and hard work. Listening to the clients and their requirements is our forte and in 2011 we added a specialist customer service department amalgamating from each of our divisions in WIRELESS , LANDLINE , ADSL , MOBILE and PRODUCT to create a “ super team “ .

This move has improved response and efficiency throughout our company and has once again proved a huge success.

In each of our department we strive to employ only the best in their field and we keep them!!

Over the last 9 years very few staff have left the team and that is exactly what we are a TEAM.

We have brothers and sisters, husbands and Wives and parents and  “off spring  “all working at TELITEC. We look after our customers as if they were our family too.
